One of the biggest reasons why you should read Manga online is the money it can save you. There are many reasons you should read Manga online, and if you are a fan of this unique storytelling style then learning about them is a must. It's probably like playing in aD&D 3.5 game where everyone else has an A-tier class and you play something from E-tier and feel like the party's bag carrier. Why You Should Read Manga Online at ? Possible that it's some subtle blessing influence or that he fell in the trap of only thinking of his contributions in terms of his blessing. He also didn't think much about all the stuff he did and thought the others would distribute his chores and not Ares trying to do them all himself. And it seems that he felt early on that he would accompany Ruti only part of the way until she wouldn't need him anymore when he couldn't keep up with the challenges. Same for First Aid which he leveled up but became superfluous when three other party members (Ares had access to divine magic) leveled up enough to cover that area by casting healing spells. ![]() When he came up with them the first time, his party wasn't impressed as they all had ways to deal with the cold. He felt that they surpassed him in a lot of areas and quite a few things he contributed were less and less useful. In the LN he mentions that the only thing his blessing did was urge him to keep the hero safe, but as Guide is incredibly weak according to him, its urges are also weak. Whenever the party was together, Gideon also seemed to be the de facto leader, making plans and barking orders and everything, so it's not like Ares could pull rank on him.Īnd most of all, Gideon leaving Ruti, and furthermore without saying a word, despite what we know about both of them and their relationship, and despite of how aware he is of the issues and limitations of her Blessing, seems like a wildly out of character move. Why was Gideon taking Ares at face value when he always seemed to openly dislike Gideon, and also had a tendency to be delusional about how they don't need Gideon right in situations where they clearly did? Gideon being a drag on the party also seems more like an informed attribute - he might not have matched the others at their best, but we've also seen that he's far above average in everything he did, he did stuff for them nobody else could, and he never got into serious trouble until Ares went all out against him. And then, the more we learned about the people and the past, the less sense it made. When we first watched the scene, it totally made sense. Thinking back on the series, I have one big complaint though - in retrospect, Gideon's banishment doesn't make sense to me. The way he went from invading other countries for the Demon Lord to being totally invested in Ruti staying the hero was kinda abrupt. I also wish we got at least some insight into Shisandan's motivations and goals. I wish we got an update on what everybody else is doing - Theodora and Albert, most of all. I also liked how they wished Ares a new life free from his old blessing, instead of having lingering bad feelings towards him. And seeing Ruti just start to talk has made me feel so elated. ![]() It was a nice ending, bringing things together but leaving it open enough. ![]() ![]() I finally got to watching the last episode (I didn't feel up to watching it, in case Tisse didn't survive, for a few days).
