You can really go in-depth with the thoughts of your guests, or you can simply look over their heads for handy icons that display whether they need to eat, drink, rest or go to the bathroom. Therefore, even if your fish don’t require plants and decor, fill up your tanks with them anyway to get the most out of them! Every single guest that views your individual tanks will contribute to adding up all of these points just once. Ecology research allows you to discover new livestock and science research allows you to unlock more or better equipment. Research adds yet another layer to your choice of fish and decor because all of them will have points that go toward “ecology”, “science”, both or neither. After a specific amount, you’ll “rank up” which will either give you access to those items right away or allow you to research them. This will unlock new facilities, tools, decorations, livestock, etc. Your prestige comes from happy guests and everything in your aquarium which is important to increase. Your individual fish will have a number of water quality and temperature minimum in order to survive. Just attach your equipment to pumps, adding more as needed in order to reach all your tanks. You’ll soon discover that your guests dislike seeing your heaters, chillers, filters and the like, and therefore you’ll need to hide all of it behind walls! This becomes really fun to place when you have access to pumps which can reach tanks from a distance rather than needing to connect your equipment right next to them. The amount of equipment needed depends on the size you’re using (small, medium, large), as well as which fish and how many you plan to put in that tank. All tanks will require filters to enhance your water quality. Your fish will either be tropical or cold and need equipment for the tanks accordingly. You have control of where you want to place your tank and the size so have an idea of your aquarium layout and design when deciding on which tank to use. Some tanks will go deeper into the floor and others will be tall and need a platform with stairs so your staff can access them. All tanks are pre-built with where the window panes for viewing and the walls that are up for privacy will be. This seems like an oversight.? I can't think of a reason for it to be limited.Different styles of tanks will be unlocked the further you play the main game which will mostly be for aesthetic purposes with the exception of the Kreisel tank which is the only one that can be used for jellyfish. I feel like I worded this oddly, and unsure how to reword, but I hope it was understandable.įully Rotating Items: Some items, the Power Combi so far is the one I've run into like this, will only rotate to 2 different directions instead of all 4. Would be nice if the big X would pop while it's "attached" to your mouse on that spot before buying/moving. Perhaps a button we could hold instead of a menu toggle.Ĭan't Reach Icon Preview: (option toggle) It's a basic thing you pick up quickly to not block objects from every side, but sometimes visually info is skewed in ones brain and you don't realize. Perhaps an icon or shading on the object to indicate it is not connected to anything. I'd like a toggle, OFF by default for new players, that allows you to place but with the warning. Currently only pops up if hovering over bar.Īllow Placement Option: If you try to place a tank object (filter, combi, etc) without it being next to a tank or a pump, it disallows this and warns you. Talents Mouseover Info: Should pop up for whole line, as far left as the name of the talent, Fitness etc. I certainly would use the way it is for comparisons, but the toggle would be nice. Window Option Toggle: I'd like an option to make it so when I click a tank or fish, it would automatically close the previous window. Mouseover Tooltip Hotkeys Don't Update: If you change the hotkeys in the options the info on the mouseovers don't display this change.Ĭopy Object Hotkey: In Big Pharma you could press a button and the next object you left click would be the one you'd be buying without needing to open menus. Number Keys: Should open up the build menus in the left column. Basically the angle the game uses when you click to expand the building. Great for utility like moving / selling objects, but not the prettiest angle. (2) Direct Top Down twisted so that you'd be looking at squares. This is the fun stylish angle I use most of the time, and how the cam starts on most levels already. Actually I'd like two hotkeys for these preset camera angles: (1) Diagonal / Isometric also twisted so the floor in the early levels look like diamonds. Reset Camera Button: I would love a hotkey to reset the camera to a default angle. When the bar of buttons on the left gets over the flooring and tanks etc it becomes very difficult to make out the icons. Here's the list of constructive feedback I have so far.
